William “Bill” E. Clark, Jr., died October 12, 2024, at Diversicare of Council Grove. He was born August 18, 1961, in Chicago, IL, the only son of William E. Sr. and Annie (Kirkendoll) Clark. Bill graduated from Kelley High School in Chicago, IL. Bill worked for various warehouses before he had to medically retire. Bill proudly served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged May 22, 1981.
Bill is survived by: daughter, Annie Clark of New Lenox, IL; 6 sisters, Sandra Kluk of Peotone, IL, Debra Stanek and husband Marty of New Lenox, IL, Brenda Jedrzejak and husband Paul of Chicago, IL, Dawn Hunt and husband Rick of Strong City, Destiny Crow of South Hutchinson, Shawn Salvato and husband Carl of Chicago, IL; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; son, Billy Clark; and nephew, Eric Keeton.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Brown-Bennett-Alexander Funeral Home, Cottonwood Falls, with Reverend Rick Branson officiating. Burial will follow in St. Anthony Cemetery with military honors conducted by Fort Riley Honor Guard and Chase County All Veteran. Family will greet friends from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
