WILLIAM "WILLIE" HOLLIS PIERCE "Willie" Pierce, age 61, of Strong City, died Tuesday, February 14, 2012, near his residence. He has been cremated and no services are planned at this time. The son of Boyd Hollis and Mary E. Smith Pierce, William was born January 13, 1951, in San Antonio, Texas. He attended school in San Antonio. He worked in maintenance at a hospital for a short time during his life. He is survived by his previous spouse, Sharon; a son, William Hollis Pierce, II, of Missouri; two daughters: Rhonda K. Genoway of Bay City, TX. and Kimberly D. Pierce of TX.; three sisters: Shirley Haeber, Linda Sutton, and Mary Martinez all of TX.; and four grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to Brown-Bennett-Alexander Funeral Home to assist with payment of the funeral expenses.
