WILLIAM "BILL" RAYMOND DAUB Bill Daub, age 67, of Strong City, died Monday, November 29, 2010, at his home. A visitation will be held at Brown-Bennett-Alexander Funeral Home on Saturday, December 4, 2010, from 2:00 until 3:30 P.M. followed by a celebration of his life at Dave’s Place in Strong City. He has been cremated. Inurnment will be at a later date. The son of Lawrence and Ruby Hull Daub, William Raymond was born July 18, 1943, at Strong City, KS. He attended Chase County schools. He serviced in the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam War. He and Linda Gayle Cox Bullock were married April 12, 1996, at Carson City, Nevada. He drove a cattle truck and worked in Carson City casinos prior to returning to Chase County. He was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife of the home; two step-sons: Todd Bullock and David Bullock of Leavenworth, KS.; three brothers: David Daub of Rochester, NY, Larry Daub of Centennial, CO., and Robert Daub of Salina, KS. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters: Kathy Mushrush and Florence Will; and a step-son, Hank Bullock. Memorial contributions to St. Anthony’s Church and to Hospice Care of Kansas may be sent in care of the funeral home, 201 Cherry, Cottonwood Falls, KS. 66845.
