WAYNE WAY PARK Clements Dateline Wayne W. Park, 99, died Tuesday, March 10, 2009, at the Golden Living Center of Chase County in Cottonwood Falls. A graveside service will be held Saturday, March 14, 2009, at 11:30 A.M., at Clements Cemetery, Clements, KS. The Rev. John Hastings of the Elmdale United Methodist Church will officiated at the service. The son of Clyde Raymond and Maude Kathryn Way Park, Wayne Way Park was born May 27, 1909, in Clements, KS. He graduated from Clements High School in 1930. He married Hazel C. Broiles on January 24, 1934, in Emporia, KS. She died May 10, 1986. Mr. Park, a lifetime resident of Chase County, was a farmer/stockman near Clements. He is survived by one son, Gayland Park of Cottonwood Falls; three daughters: Ginger Slabaugh of Altamont, Edna Ingalls of Strong City, and Esta Meade of Topeka; six grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers: Orrin Park, Willard Park, and Bruce Park; and one sister, Mary Ballard. There will be no formal family visitation time.
