TRAVIS JOSHUA TODD Matfield Green Dateline Travis J. Todd, 18, died Tuesday, February 19, 2008, at his home in rural Matfield Green, KS. A visitation, with the family present, will be held Saturday, February 23, 2008, from 1:00 until 3:00 P.M. at the Brown-Bennett-Alexander Funeral Home in Cottonwood Falls, KS. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, February 26, 2008, at 11:00 A.M. at the Powersville Cemetery in Powersville, MO. with the Playle & Jones Funeral Home in Unionville, MO. handling the service. Travis Joshua Todd, the son of Larry and Kimberly Minear Todd, was born September 2, 1989, in Corydon, IA. He lived in the Powersville, MO. area until his family moved to Matfield Green, KS. when he was an eighth grader. He attended the Chase County Middle School during his eighth grade year and would have graduated from Chase County High School in May, 2008. He was a member of Future Business Leaders of America club at the school. He wanted to be a computer tech and was good at working on his computer. He loved to fish and hunt and was a very good cook. He is survived by his mother, Kimberly and step-father, Jason Colbruno; a brother, Tanner Todd and step-brother, Jacob Colbruno of Matfield Green, KS.; a step-brother, Aaron Todd of Springfield, MO.; grandparents, Lyle and Cheryl Minear of Powersville; step-grandmother, Marjorie Tenkula of Thunder Bay, Canada; and a step-grandfather, Jerry Colbruno of Brooksville, FL.
