FRANK ELDEN GEORGE, SR. Frank E. George, Sr., age 68, of Cottonwood Falls, died Thursday, April 7, 2011, at the Veterans Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. A Military graveside service will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2011, at 10:00 A.M., at Prairie Grove Cemetery just west of Cottonwood Falls, KS. The Rev. Pat Ireland of the First Presbyterian Church will conduct the service. A Fort Riley funeral honors team will present military honors. The son of Thomas Eugene and Mary Lang George, Frank was born October 10, 1942, in Toronto, Kansas. He attended and graduated from Eureka High School. He married Violet and they had four children. They, later, divorced. He and Pamela "Pam" Baker were married September 2, 2000, in Topeka, Kansas. She survives. He was a laborer and could fix almost anything. He served in the U.S. Air Force and the Army National Guard. He is survived by two sons: Frank E. George II of Bothell, WA. and Thomas W, George of Emporia, KS.; two daughters: Faye Suchy of Burlington, KS. and Anna George of Emporia, KS.; one brother, Tom George of Toronto, KS.; two sisters: Vessie Gulick of Rees, KS. and Margaret Wyer of Eureka, KS; and six grandchildren: Frank III, Amy, Jim, Sam, Crystal, and Christian. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Grace, and four nephews. The family will meet friends Tuesday, from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M., at the Brown-Bennett-Alexander Funeral Home in Cottonwood Falls. Friends may call Tuesday, 9:00 until 8:00.
