The daughter of Ralph and Nellie Parrish Bixler, Pauline was born June 26, 1926, at Greencastle, Indiana. She and Dwight Weaver were married February 23, 1951, at Marion, Kansas. He died August 19, 1999. Pauline was a homemaker and her family was very important to her. She also worked as a Certified Nurse’s Aide, at the then Beverly Enterprise nursing facility in Cottonwood Falls. She enjoyed her work and it was hard for her to "retire" due to her health. She was a charter member of the KFDI Country club and was the first person to call when the radio station came on the air in 1964. She always answered her telephone, "KFDI’s gonna’ make me rich!" and if anyone else answered her phone, they better answer it with those words. She is survived by sons: Roger L. Weaver of Cottonwood Falls and Steven C. Weaver of Colorado Springs, CO.; a daughter, Roberta L. Souders of Wheeling, MO.; a step-son, DeWayne D. Weaver of AZ.; a sister, Katherine Simmerman of Greencastle, IN.; a half-brother, Arthur Synder of Brazil, IN.; six grandchildren: Valeria Weaver, Jennifer Weaver, Tony Bowen, Tracy Bowen, and Todd Bowen; and one step-granddaughter, Karen Stebbens. She was preceded in death by step-daughters: JoAnn Archer and Carolyn Thornton; sisters: Annie Hunter, Ellie Bixler, and Ruth Addy; brothers: Ralphie Bixler and Robert Bixler.
