PAUL J. EVERETT Cottonwood Falls Dateline Paul J. Everett, 92, died Saturday, June 14, 2008, at the Golden Living Center of Chase County in Cottonwood Falls, KS. A graveside celebration of life will be held Wednesday, June 18, 2008, at ll:00 A.M., at the Matfield Green Cemetery in Matfield Green, KS. with The Rev. Billie Blair of the Matfield Community Church officiating. The son of Herman and Margaret Clausen Everett, Paul J. Everett was born February 15, 1916, in Elbing, KS. He and Ruby Swift were married February 13, 1943, and later divorced. He was a rancher/farmer in this area for years. He was a Mennonite. He is survived by a son, Paul Ray Everett of Sparta, Tennessee; three grandchildren: Dawn Menz, Christy Freirks, and Lance Everett; two great grandchildren: Alexander Freirks and Thorin Freirks; and Ruby Everett of Cottonwood Falls, KS. He was preceded in death by his parents. The family will meet friends Tuesday, 6:00 until 7:30 P.M. at the Brown-Bennett-Alexander Funeral Home in Cottonwood Falls.
