PAMELA J. ZIMMERMAN BRAMMELL Strong City Dateline Pam Brammell, age 52, died Sunday, June 28, 2009, at her home in Strong City. A celebration of life graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at 10:00 A.M., at Prairie Grove Cemetery in rural Cottonwood Falls, KS., with Pastor Christian Ramsey officiating. Pamela Jo Zimmerman, the daughter of W. Keith and Rella McClean Zimmerman, was born October 26, 1956, in Emporia, KS. She graduated from Chase County High School in 1974 and completed two years of post graduate education. She did independent tax preparation for years and worked for Jackson/Hewitt Tax Service in Wal Mart. She worked at Wal Mart for several years. She and Wes Brammell were married July 30, 1993, in Emporia. She attended a rural church, and when she was younger, she was a member of Job’s Daughters. She is survived by her husband of the home in Strong City, KS.; three sons: Tyler Smith of the home, Christopher Brammell of Admire, KS. and Justin Brammell of Emporia, KS.; two daughters: Kelli Armour of Palestine, TX. and Kayla Burton of Americus. KS.; a brother , Steve Zimmerman of Wichita, KS.; a sister, Brenda Nelson of Strong City, KS.; and 15 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters: Marcia McCullom and Susan Gailey. The family will meet friends Tuesday, June 30, 2009, from 6:00 until 7:30 P.M. at the Brown-Bennett-Alexander Funeral Home in Cottonwood Falls, KS.
