MARGARET "PEG" NADINE KIEFERLE BUSSELLE Margaret "Peg" Busselle, age 92, of Cottonwood Falls, died Wednesday, December 01, 2010. at Sterling House in Wichita. A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, December 4, 2010, at 11:00 A.M., at the First Presbyterian Church in Cottonwood Falls. The minister will be The Rev. Pat Ireland. Burial will follow in Prairie Grove Cemetery west of Cottonwood Falls. The daughter of William F. and Margaret Aline Frazer Kieferle, she was born October 16, 1918, in Marion. KS. She graduated from Chase County Community High School in 1935 and graduated from the College of Emporia with a BA degree in English. She and John Robert Busselle were married September 19, 1939, in Cottonwood Falls, KS. He died July 21, 1979. She was a homemaker and an owner of Kieferle-Busselle Dry Goods Store in Cottonwood Falls and retired after 30 years in business. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Cottonwood Falls where she was an Elder serving of Session. She was, also a member of Presbyterian Women, and past member of The Mariners Club. She was active in the community and was a member of Eastern Star Falls Chapter #25, chapter BZ of the P.E.O. Sisterhood, Priscilla Club, Justamere Study Club, ABC Bridge Club, and Wednesday P.M. Bridge Club. She was a former member of American Association of University Women and the Neighborhood Chairman of Girl Scouts. She is survived by two daughters: Sandra K. Schrag and Marcia S. Ayres both of Wichita, KS; a sister, Virginia Crofoot of Lubbock, TX.; and three grandsons. She was preceded in death by her parents. There will be no formal family visitation. Friends may call Friday, from 9:00 A.M. until 4:30 P.M. at the funeral home.
