Larry M. Davis, 78, died May 8, 2022, at Flint Hills Care Center in Emporia. He was born December 12, 1943, in Albany, NY, to Charles A. and Mary V. (Burton) Davis. Larry graduated from Albany High School and attended Wichita State University. He was an avid hunter and football fan.
On August 31, 1968, he married Susan F. Schuessler. They shared 53 years of marriage.
Larry is survived by: wife, Susan of the home; daughters, Elaine R. Davis of Kansas City, MO, Emily A. Clark of Kansas City, KS; grandchildren, Ryann Clark, Max Clark; and brothers, Alan F. Davis of Wichita and Charles A. Davis of Henderson, NV.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Per Larry’s wishes, cremation will take place and no service will be held. Memorial donations may be made to ASPCA, in care of Brown-Bennett-Alexander Funeral Home, PO Box 220 Cottonwood Falls, KS 66845.
