LYNN MARIE (LUTT) POTTER On December 27, 2012, Lynn Marie Potter passed away in Dallas, Tx. She was born May 5, 1951, in Marion, KS., the second daughter to John W. and Lela May Lutt. She grew up in Chase County, Kansas. She was a tomboy most of her life. She had traveled from coast to coast and from Canada to Mexico. She had lived in several states. She finally settled in Utah in 1976. Lynn started working for NCR in 1977 and retired in 1997 in California after which she returned to Utah. She worked, after her retirement for English Corsair Furniture and Loft house foods until her health made her permanently retire in 2001. She moved to Texas in 2004. She married David L. Potter on May 29, 2005, in Texas. Lynn is survived by her husband, David; her step-son, Tony and his wife, Deb and Justin and Stacey; four step-grandchildren and one great grandson; a sister, Leola K. Conklin, her daughters and family, Deanna Conklin and her daughter, Janna Conklin, Frances and husband, Brian Potter, and their sons, Rusty and Zack Potter; Linda L. Potter and husband, Donald Wayne, their son and family, Donald W. Potter II and wife, Kerry and their daughters, Kelsey and Alyson. She leaves behind several friends, Milo and Becky Porter and Buck and Nola Hesselgesser of Ogden, UT., Mike and Rosie Roberts of Springfield, MO., brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and their families, which have always been like her blood family. She is preceded in death by her parents, John W. and Lela May Lutt; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Fred and Marge Potter, one step-son, David L. Potter, II, brothers-in-law: Doug Potter, Pete Conklin, and Sam Weikle; and sister-in-law, Gary Potter’s wife, Linda. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 2, 2013, at 10:00 A.M., at Brown-Bennett-Alexander Funeral Home in Cottonwood Falls, KS. Lynn has asked that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in her name. There will be no formal family visitation.
