LINDA LOU MINIUM SWARTZ Cottonwood Falls Dateline Linda L. Swartz, 57, of rural Cottonwood Falls, died suddenly Wednesday, September 24, 2008, at her home. A celebration of life service will be held Monday, September 29, 2008, at 11:00 A.M., at the Brown-Bennett-Alexander Funeral Home in Cottonwood Falls with The Rev. John Hastings officiating. Interment will follow in the Bazaar Cemetery at Bazaar, Kansas. The daughter of Ezra and Phyllis McFadden Minium, Jr., Linda Lou Minium was born October 27, 1950, in Lewistown, Pennsylvania. She worked as a confidential secretary for the Pennsylvania Game Commission for 26 years before retiring in 1996. She and Roy William "Bill" Swartz were married June 28, 1998, in Columbia, North Carolina. They lived in Millerstown, Pennsylvania, for eight years before returning to Cottonwood Falls. She enjoyed taking photos. She is survived by her husband, Bill, of the home; her mother, Phyllis, and brother, Steve, both of Millerstown, PA. She was preceded in death by her father. The family will meet friends Sunday, 6:00 until 7:30 P.M., at the funeral home. Friends may call Sunday, noon until 8:00 P.M. and Monday, 9:00 A.M. until service time at the funeral home.
