KEITH K. MILLER Strong City Dateline Keith K. Miller, 69, died Saturday, September 8, 2007, at his home in Strong City, Kansas. A celebration of life service will be held Tuesday, September 11, 2007, at 10:30 A.M., at the Brown-Bennett-Alexander Funeral Home in Cottonwood Falls with The Rev. Leonard Wagner of the Church of God in Emporia. Interment will follow in Strong City Cemetery. Keith K. was born to Glen R. and Esther Danford Miller on October 12, 1937, at the family home in rural Strong City. He graduated from Strong City High School. He worked with his three sons hauling hay and he, also, worked for the Chase County Highway Dept. and Koss Construction Company for 19 years, before retiring in 1999. He married Linda Lawless in 1958 and they later divorced. He married Sandra (Sandy) Sawyer on October 12, 1967, and they enjoyed almost 40 wonderful years of marriage. He is survived by his wife of the home; three sons: Tim Miller of Bucyrus, KS., Rick Miller of Overland Park, KS. and John Miller of Raymore, MO.; one daughter, Missy (Miller) Gowin of Shawnee, KS.; three brothers: Paul Miller of Pineville, AR., Bobby Gene Miller of Idalou, TX., and his twin brother, Kenneth Miller of Emporia, KS., eight grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Brian Miller; four sisters: Betty (Miller) Henderson, JoAnn (Miller) Starks, Glenda Mae (Miller) Rickstrew, and Gladys (Miller) Thompson; and two brothers: Donald Ralph Miller and Harold Dean Miller. The family will greet friends Monday, from 6:30 until 7:30 P.M. at the Brown-Bennett-Alexander Funeral Home.
