JAMES CLUTTER Obituary

JAMES RAY "JIM" CLUTTER James "Jim" Clutter, age 73, of Strong City, KS., died Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at Morris County Hospital in Council Grove, Kansas. The son of Ralph and Maxine Hillman Clutter, he was born September 24, 1938, in Hooker, Oklahoma. He graduated from Hooker High School and attended Oklahoma State University. He served in the U.S. Army. He and Algene Blackmore were married December 19, 1972, in Sublette, KS. He owned and worked in farm equipment sales and service in various communities in Kansas. Cremation has taken place and there will be no service. He is survived by his wife, of the home; a daughter, Deedee Thompson of Strong City; and two grandsons: Bradley Clutter of Concordia and Devin Thompson of Strong City. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Donald and Devon Clutter. Memorial contributions to the Chase County Elementary School Library, to purchase books for the students, may be sent in care of Brown-Bennett-Alexander Funeral Home, 201 Cherry, Cottonwood Falls, KS. 66845.
