EUNICE IRENE WYATT LUDWIG

EUNICE IRENE WYATT LUDWIG Rogers, AR. Eunice I. Ludwig, 76, formerly of Emporia, KS., died Monday, January 14, 2008, at the Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, AR. A memorial service, in celebration of life, will be held Saturday, January 19, 2008, at 10:30 A.M., at the Brown-Bennett-Alexander Funeral Home in Cottonwood Falls, KS. She has been cremated and inurnment will be held later in Prairie Grove Cemetery in rural Cottonwood Falls, KS. The daughter of Carl and Gladys Stout Wyatt, Eunice Irene was born October 6, 1931, in Chase County, Kansas. She graduated from Clements High School. She and Marion "Pud" Ludwig were married August 6, 1950, in Clements, Kansas. She was a housewife and homemaker. She was a Chief Clerk for the U.S. Department of Agriculture (ASCS office) in Emporia where she worked for 33 years. She was a lifetime member of Miriam Chapter #14 of the Order of the Eastern Star. She belonged to the Fraternal Order of Eagles Ladies Auxiliary for over 45 years. Eunice and Pud moved from Emporia, KS. to Rogers, AR. in 1995. They enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and neighbors. They traveled in their RV and made many friends in the many places they visited including Branson, MO., which was one of their favorite destinations in their travels. Eunice enjoyed watching birds, doing needlepoint, cooking, and time with her dogs - Brandi and Annie. She spent considerable time studying the genealogy of the family. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Marion of Rogers, AR.; a daughter, Theresa Linkous and her husband, Rick, of Rogers, AR.; two grandsons: Aaron Linkous and Adam Linkous of Rogers, AR.; two brothers: Ivan Wyatt of Clements, KS. and Dale Wyatt of Honolulu, HI.; and a large number of nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions to the Circle of Life Hospice House, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, AR. 72762, may be sent in care of the Hospice or in care of the funeral home, 201 Cherry, Cottonwood Falls, KS. 66845.
