Donald “Don” L. Centlivre, Jr., 79, died July 30, 2024, at KU Medical Center, Kansas City. He was born June 12, 1945, in Topeka, to Donald Sr. and Helen (Green) Centlivre. Don worked as a truck driver for EVCO for many years.
He was passionate about all K-State sports, all college softball teams, and an avid fisherman.
On July 1, 1967, he married Geneva “Geni” McNish in Topeka. They shared almost 47 years of marriage before she died on June 8, 2014.
Don is survived by: children, Jeff Centlivre and wife Kathleen of Americus, Kathi Centlivre of Cottonwood Falls; grandchildren, Darien Centlivre, Cottonwood Falls, Kaitlin Centlivre, Emily Centlivre, Logan Centlivre all of Americus; and great granddaughter, Autumn Centlivre of Cottonwood Falls.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sharon Fogelberg.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 3, 2024, at Brown-Bennett-Alexander Funeral Home, Cottonwood Falls. Burial will follow in Strong Township Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, August 2, 2024, at the funeral home.
