Donald E Anderson

Donald “Don” E. Anderson, 89, died November 21, 2023, at Chase County Care and Rehabilitation, Cottonwood Falls. He was born February 23, 1934, in Clements, to Archie and Alice (Martin) Anderson. Don graduated from Highland Park High School in Topeka. He retired from Frito-Lay.

In Don’s younger years, he was extremely athletic. He enjoyed playing softball, bowling and doing puzzles. Don was affectionately called “Papa” by his grandchildren. 

Don is survived by: son, Brian Anderson and grandsons, Ben Anderson and Ian Anderson, all of Topeka. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.

Per Don’s wishes, cremation will take place and no services are planned. Memorial donations may be made to Helping Hands Humane Society, in care of Brown-Bennett-Alexander Funeral Home, PO Box 220 Cottonwood Falls, KS 66845.
