Della Zorn Obituary
Della Mae Zorn, 91, died December 6, 2022, at her home in rural Lyon County. She was born September 25, 1931, in Cedar Point, to Willis E. and Nettie M. Baker. Della was a homemaker and also a babysitter.
On May 11, 1958, she married John O. Zorn, in Emporia. They shared 51 years of marriage before he died on September 24, 2009.
Della is survived by: children, Randy Zorn of the home, Carol Simmons and husband Glenn of Americus; grandson, Christopher Simmons, Olathe and Zachary Simmons, Topeka; and sister, Elsie Zeigler of Emporia.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Per Della’s wishes, cremation will take place and a private family inurnment will take place at a later date in Union Cemetery, Rural Lyon County. Memorial donations may be made to Buck Fund, in care of Brown-Bennett-Alexander Funeral Home, PO Box 220 Cottonwood Falls, KS 66845.
