Dawn Marie Robinson

Dawn Marie Robinson, 51, passed away January 21, 2023, at Mid-American Rehabilitation Hospital, Overland Park. She was born February 4, 1971, in El Dorado, to Richard and Barbara Harris. Dawn obtained a GED and then went on to receive a nurse’s degree. Dawn enjoyed spending time with her family and sewing. She was the manager of the C4 Food Pantry and it was a role she was very proud of. Dawn was very passionate about the pantry and implemented new ideas that helped improve a valuable resource. She was a friend to everyone that came in and she will be greatly missed.

Dawn married Jerry Robinson on May 31, 2000, in Strong City. They shared almost 23 years of marriage.

Dawn is survived by: husband, Jerry of the home; children, Megan Mildward of Cottonwood Falls, Chance Mildward and wife Sierra of Miller, Micah Robinson and Jay-Von Robinson both of the home; grandchildren, Jerrihuan, Khedive, Desarae, Sophya, Liam, Brogan, Tucker;  step-children, Jerry Jr. and wife Nichole, Michael and Karly; siblings, Bob Watchous, Marti Demers, Scott Harris, and Tina Harris.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, David Harris.

Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, February 3, 2023, at Brown-Bennett-Alexander Funeral Home, Cottonwood Falls. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 4, 2023, at Flint Hills Community Church. Graveside service will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, February 4, 2023, at Highland Cemetery, Ottawa.
