Cottonwood Falls Dateline Christie R. Brothers, age 39, died at the residence on May 25, 2010. She was born in El Dorado on July 24, 1970, the daughter of Rodger and Shelly (Wright) Brothers. She was a graduate of Hamilton High School. She was a Certified Nurses’ Aide. She is survived by her husband, Jim DeWitt of Cottonwood Falls; her father, Rodger Brothers of Winfield; a brother, Josh Brothers of Emporia; sisters: Sarah Roberts of Manhattan and Emily Brothers of Cottonwood Falls; and a grandmother, Mary Brothers of Winfield.
