CHESTER GARREN "GARY" LOUCK Gary Louck, age 65, of Strong City, Kansas died suddenly on Sunday, October 31, 2010, at Newman Regional Health in Emporia. There will be a visitation, with the family present, Wednesday, 6:00 until 8:00 P.M., at the Brown-Bennett-Alexander Funeral Home in Cottonwood Falls, KS. A service will be held at Kahoka, MO. with burial in Denmark, Iowa. The son of Chester and Genevieve M. Vantiger Louck, Chester Garren Louck was born April 24, 1945, in Fort Madison, Iowa. He was married to Linda Goldie. They later divorced and she died in 2010. He and Jamie Bosch were married October 4, 2003, in Miami, Oklahoma. He was a certified Ford mechanic and worked in Iowa and Oklahoma. He worked for Clark Farm Store and was self-employed before his retirement. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and Professional Bull Riding competition. He spent time riding his horse, Sandy and fishing. He is survived by his wife of the home; two sons: Tyrone Louck of Waverly, Iowa and Justin Louck of Luray, MO.; one daughter, Holly Salyers of Luray, MO.; two half-sisters: Cozette Washburn and Lauretta Lay, both of Fort Madison, Iowa; and six grandchildren: Sam & Morgan Louck, Kelsey Salyers, Ebbie Shelton, and Erica and Aadin Louck. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Andrea Shelton, and two half-brothers. Memorial contributions to an Education Fund for his grandchildren may be sent in care of the funeral home, 201 Cherry, Cottonwood Falls, KS. 66845.
