Obituary

Bruce J. Turner, 64, died November 19, 2022, at his home in El Dorado. He was born July 3, 1958, in Hillsboro to Roland and Helen (Baker) Turner. Bruce graduated from Chase County High School in 1976. He worked construction, carpentry, and for Gary Bruch on his ranch. Bruce enjoyed shooting pool and fishing.

He is survived by: son, William Turner of Hamilton; grandchildren, Sierra and Braden Thomas; siblings, Bud Turner and wife Janet of Eureka, Claudine Karczewski and husband Jerry of Sodus Point, NY;  and companion, Cynthia George of the home.

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Stephanie Thomas.

Cremation will take place.

Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 3, 2022, at Cottonwood Falls United Methodist Church. Private family inurnment will take place at a later date in Prairie Grove Cemetery, Cottonwood Falls. Memorial donations may be made to Interim Hospice, in care of Brown-Bennett-Alexander Funeral Home PO Box 220 Cottonwood Falls, KS 66845.
