Beverly G. Pinkston, 62, died September 5, 2022, at home in Bazaar. She was born August 19, 1960, in Emporia, to Dudley and L. Faye (DeWitt) Pinkston. Beverly had an infectious smile and inherited her father’s musical talents and love of music. She was a devoted and active member of Cottonwood Falls United Methodist Church and a strong faith in God and Jesus that sustained her all her life. Beverly had a passion for needle point and crafted many beautiful pieces. She was owner and operator of Cuttin’ Up in Strong City for over 40 years.
On October 18, 1986, she married Dave Knoblock. They shared 35 years of marriage before he died on February 2, 2022.
Beverly is survived by: Auntie Fern; a brother; church family, friends, neighbors, clients at Cuttin’ Up; and brother-in-law, Les Knoblock.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Cremation will take place.
Memorial service will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, September 9, 2022, at Cottonwood Falls United Methodist Church with Reverend Tim Woods officiating.
