Barbara L. Moore

Barbara L. Moore, 75, died December 29, 2020, at home in Cottonwood Falls. She was born October 23, 1945, in Coffeyville, to Clyde and Darlene (Rexwinkle) Foster. Before retiring Barbara was a clerk at Casey’s and then became a caregiver for her mother. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, and cross stitch.  

On January 4, 1963, she married Johnny R. Moore in Dearing. They shared 40 years of marriage before he died on March 24, 2003.

Barbara is survived by: children, Teresa Rogers of Coffeyville, Angela Kyser and husband Chris of South Coffeyville, OK, Debbie Bower and husband Donnie of Cottonwood Falls, Johnny Moore and wife Terressa of Emporia; 14 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and siblings, Vernon Foster of WA, Cathy Fugate, Timmy Foster, both of Coffeyville.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Clyde “Cork” Foster.

Cremation has taken place.

Memorial service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 23, 2020, at St. Anthony Parish Hall. Memorial donations may be made to Chase County Elementary School, in care of Brown-Bennett-Alexander Funeral Home, PO Box 220, Cottonwood Falls, KS 66845.
