Barbara Eidman

Barbara Ahl Eidman of Saffordville, died December 16, 2023, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She was born June 21, 1929, in Okland, CA. She graduated from Sacramento High School. Barbara went on to become an R.N. from Sacramento Hospital School of Nursing.

In 1950 she married Glen Eidman. He died in 1999.

She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Marsha and son, Mark.

Barbara is survived by: sons, Brad (Kim) of CA and Kirk of KS; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Johnson (Barbara’s twin) and Marline Glaze.

Per Barbara’s wishes, no service is planned. Interment will take place in Grandview Cemetery. Memorial donations made be made to Emporia Friends of the Zoo or donor’s choice, in care of Brown-Bennett-Alexander Funeral Home, PO Box 220 Cottonwood Falls, KS 66845.
