BEAU WALLACE Obituary

BEAU ROBERT WALLACE Beau R. Wallace, age 30, died, as the result of a motorcycle-vehicle accident, Thursday, May 26, 2011, on Highway 50 in Lyon County, Kansas. A rosary will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2011, at 6:00 P.M., at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Strong City, KS. The family will meet friends, following the rosary,at St. Anthony’s Hall. A celebration of life service will be held Wednesday, June 1, 2011, at 11:00 A.M., at the Chase County Jr.-Sr. High School in Cottonwood Falls, Kansas. Father Kelley Lackey of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church will conduct the service. Inurnment will be at a later date. The casket will remain closed. The son of Robert "Bob" E. and Connie Ybarra Wallace, Beau was born May 28, 1980, in Emporia, Kansas. He graduated from Chase County High School in 1998 and attended Emporia State University for four years. He and Elizabeth Green were married and later divorced. He attended and graduated from the Kansas Highway Patrol Training Academy in 2003. He was a Master Trooper working the Turnpike. He was a member of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Emporia, Kansas. He is survived by his father and step-mother, Bob and Danielle Wallace, of Emporia, KS; his mother and step-father, Connie and Cecil Butter, of Cottonwood Falls, KS; his brother, Daniel Wallace of Columbia, MO.; four step-brothers: Patrick Carathers of Cottonwood Falls, KS., Tommy Butter of Strong City, Ian Sadler of Fayetteville, AK., and Private Lance Sadler in Germany; three step-sisters: Tammy Jellison of Topeka, KS., Zila Welsh of Tonganoxie, KS., and Autumn Irwin of Emporia, KS.; his grandmother, Helen Wallace of Waverly, KS.; and his companion, Tegan Fanders of Emporia, KS. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Nasario and Juana Ybarra and grandfather, Bill Wallace. The family will meet friends, following the rosary, at St. Anthony’s Hall until 8:00 P.M.
