ROBERT "ROBBIE" ALAN ARCHER Strong City Dateline Robert "Robbie" Archer, 46, died, unexpectedly, Saturday, December 29, 2007, at Mercy Regional Health Center in Manhattan, Kansas. A celebration of life service will be held Thursday, January 3, 2008, at 2:00 P.M., at the Flint Hills Community Church, in Cottonwood Falls, Kansas with Pastor David Gass of the Cedar Point Community Church officiating. Burial will follow in Prairie Grove Cemetery in rural Cottonwood Falls. Robert Alan Archer, the son of Robert Andrew and Patricia Brown Archer, was born February 25, 1961, in Strong City, KS. He and Verna Rohloff were married December 11, 1982, in Wilsey, Kansas. He owned and operated the Chase County Body Shop and Wrecking Service in Strong City. He was a contracted AAA provider and a member of the National Cushman Club of America. He is survived by his wife, Verna, of the home in Strong City; a son, Wesley Archer of Manhattan, KS.; a daughter, Samantha Archer of the home; his mother, Patricia Cripps of Cottonwood Falls, KS.; two brothers: Mark Archer and Tony Archer both of Wichita, KS.; and a sister, Anita Cain of rural Cottonwood Falls, KS. He was preceded in death by his father on August 8, 1990. The family will meet friends Wednesday, from 6:30 until 7:30 P.M., at the Flint Hills Community Church. Friends may call Tuesday, from noon until 8:00 P.M., at the Brown-Bennett-Alexander Funeral Home in Cottonwood Falls and Wednesday, from 9:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M.
