Chris A. “Kringle” Carroll, 60, died August 5, 2019, in rural Chase County. Chris was born April 10, 1959, in Cushing, OK, to Richard Carroll and Jacqueline Rainey. Chris spent most of his working career on the Matfield Green turnpike. He would spend his day walking his pets or conversing with friends and family. He never met a stranger. Chris had a heart of gold, was the definition of a true hippie, a comedian and would always make you smile or laugh. His greatest joy in life was his family.
Chris is survived by: siblings, Jay H. Dean Jr. of Haysville, Tammy Talkington, James Dean, both of Emporia, Lynn McCabe of El Dorado; 19 nieces and nephews; 21 great nieces and nephews; 14 great great nieces and nephews; and step-father, Jess H. Dean Sr. of Matfield Green.
He was preceded in death by his father; mother; brother, David Carroll; one great nephew and one great niece.
Cremation has taken place.
Celebration of life service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 10, 2019, at Flint Hills Community Church, with Pastor Dave Thomas officiating. Family will greet friends before and after the service. Close friends and family are invited to Chase County Lake around 4:00 p.m. for a memorial BBQ and to reminisce about Chris. Memorial donations may be made to the Chris A.
